Discover the Seclusion of Doubtful Sound

Tucked away in Fiordland National Park, Doubtful Sound is often described as New Zealand’s best-kept secret. Larger and quieter than Milford Sound, it’s an off-the-beaten-path treasure where misty peaks, tumbling waterfalls, and ancient rainforest dominate the landscape. The journey begins with a peaceful cruise across Lake Manapouri, followed by a coach ride over the stunning Wilmot Pass – an experience in itself.

The lack of direct road access adds to its wild charm, making every visit feel like an exclusive adventure. Along the way, you'll have the chance to stretch your legs and breathe in the scent of moss-laden forest, surrounded by native bird calls. It’s this remoteness that offers a truly immersive experience, far removed from the usual tourist trails.
