The Auckland to Sanctuary Mountain Private Tour is a journey into one of New Zealand’s most inspiring conservation projects. Travel in comfort from Auckland to Waikato and discover the ancient forests of Maungatautari. This 3,400-hectare ecological reserve is encircled by the world’s longest predator-proof fence, protecting rare wildlife and native birds.

On a guided bush walk, you’ll hear birdsong, see thriving native flora, and learn about the cultural and environmental significance of the sanctuary. With luxury transport, a guided tour, and lunch included, every detail is taken care of. Returning to Auckland in the evening, you’ll leave with a deeper appreciation of Aotearoa’s natural heritage.
