Anchorage Walk & Sail Tour – Explore Abel Tasman’s Coastline

Start your day with a peaceful self-guided walk from Marahau to Anchorage, winding through native bush, golden beaches, and coastal lookouts. This 12 km stretch of the Abel Tasman track offers the perfect mix of nature, exercise and scenic beauty. Once you reach Anchorage Bay, there’s time to relax before meeting your skipper on the beach.

At 1:30 pm, step aboard the sailing catamaran and enjoy a laid-back return journey past fur seals, forested headlands and hidden bays. The afternoon light makes for incredible photo ops as you cruise back toward Kaiteriteri. With a free transfer back to your car in Marahau, this one-way adventure is as seamless as it is spectacular.

We recommend beginning your self-guided walk by 8:30am, check in with the skipper is then at 1:15pm on Anchorage beach.
